Hi, I'm having trouble installing the client on a Windows XP (32 bit) PC. The error says "Installation error (0x2). Module: InstallDriver (487). C:\Windows\system32\ftusbbus.inf". The only reference I can find on Google is someone here with this error, and you say it doesn't work on Windows 64 bit. Well, this is 32 bit so it isn't that. I'd much appreciate any suggestions as to what this problem may be. I've tried the system on two other XP installs here, and the solution is easy and works fine. Of course the machine I'm having trouble with is the one it "has" to work on...

My main interest at this point is to know how I could get a log of what the installer is trying to do and thus perhaps fix it myself. An explanation of the codes would be good too. If I can get this one PC working, then we are interested in reselling or OEMing the software.

Does anyone know how long I should expect to wait before support respond please? Or is this not a place to get support?

To speed up process can you please email us (to support@fabulatech.com) the c:\windows\setupapi.log file?

These things are so annoying. Okay, I just went to do the install again, and it worked. The only thing that I've changed is the video driver because I've upgraded to a new version of a remote control package that installs a video hook. That wouldn't install either, so I changed the driver to the manufacturers. And now of course your client installs just fine.

Hmm, okay I can procede now.

If it happens again, I'll let you know.
