There are some communications applications that require minimal response time from a serial device. In other words, time delays in communication between a serial device and communications application may lead to incorrect working.
Network Serial Port Kit transmits data over network and that's why it transmits them with additional time delay. However, the program has Network Latency Compensation capability to avoid influence of network delays.
Important: We strongly recommend to change this parameter ONLY if communications application works incorrect with a remote serial device!
Select virtual serial port, click button and then click Latency tab.
Using slider, move network latency compensation level on one point towards the Maximal point and check how it's effected the communications application working. Find out the minimal slider position at which your communications application works stable with a remote serial device.
